The Call

Krynn Awaits Its Storytellers

You have seen it a thousand times, if only in your mind.

The warm glow of the Inn of the Last Home, high in the branches of a vallenwood tree. Tanis and his companions reunited after five long years. Raistlin's golden skin and hourglass eyes catching the firelight. The blue crystal staff. The first dragons in three hundred years darkening the skies over Solamnia. Sturm standing alone on the walls of the High Clerist's Tower.

For decades, these moments have lived only in the imaginations of readers. Dragonlance Studio exists to change that. We are gathering the fans who love this saga, the writers, artists, dreamers and tinkerers, to bring the world of Krynn to the screen, one scene at a time, together.

Why Now

The Tools Have Finally Caught Up to Our Imagination

Not long ago, putting a world like Krynn on screen meant a studio, a massive budget and years of work. For fans, it was simply out of reach.

That has changed. AI video generators have matured at a stunning pace. From a written description and a handful of reference images, today's tools create cinematic camera movement, believable light and weather, expressive faces, and characters that stay recognizable from one shot to the next. Some even generate sound and dialogue along with the picture.

What was impossible for fans only a short time ago is now within reach of anyone willing to learn, share, and create together.

But powerful tools alone do not make a film. A film needs a shared vision: characters who look the same in every scene, places that feel real every time we return to them, and a team working from the same page. That is what this studio is built for.

Who We Are

A Fan Project, Built by Fans

Dragonlance Studio is an unofficial, non-commercial fan community. We are here out of love for the saga that Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman created, and for the countless adventures it has inspired around gaming tables and bookshelves for decades.

Everything built here is shared freely with the community. Every character improved, every place described, every scene planned makes the next film better for everyone.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast, the owner of Dragonlance. We create as fans, with deep respect for the story and the people who gave it to us, and we look forward to the day Wizards of the Coast throws in their support to help us make this even better.
